        Welcome to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW), Women in Science & Engineering (WiSE) website! UNCW WiSE is a student organization, whose main goal is to promote women in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields. We are open to all majors and both students and members of the greater Wilmington, North Carolina community.

 

        WiSE members act as volunteers in their community, role models for young girls, and a support network for our fellow women in the STEM fields.  We also provide STEM-based volunteer opportunities, chances to network with professors, graduate students, and potential employers, as well as hold many social events to strengthen our bonds as WiSE women.
